The purpose of ventilator is divided into three kinds: the main fan is used for ventilation of the whole mine or a certain wing of the mine, also known as the main fan. The auxiliary fan is used for regulating the air volume of the branch air path in the mine ventilation network to assist the main fan. Local fans are used for ventilation in local places of tunnels where there is no through air flow in the mine.
